A little bit about Me
Hello! Welcome to Hedley's Headlines.
I love teaching third grade! I have been at Kempsville Elementary for 8 years. I've taught half a year of fourth grade (I took over mid year), two years in second grade, and this is my fourth year in third grade. Third graders are so much fun! They are so eager to learn and they still LOVE their teacher!!
I live in the Kempsville area with my husband and presently only two kids are at home. I have four children ages 27, 25, 23, and 19. My three oldest children have all graduated from college. Jeffrey is presently in Medical School at EVMS. My next son, Matthew works for a financial firm and enjoys helping people save for the future! My daughter Kimberly is in her first year of teaching in a small private school in Fairfax, Va. she teaches fifth grade. My son Stephen is a sophomore at ODU majoring in Political Science. He really wants to go on to Law school.
My husband and I enjoy all kinds of sports, traveling, working in the yard, and just spending time with family and friends.
I'm really looking forward to a wonderful year full of great accomplishments!!
